Are you America's Next Great Cartoonist?

The Washington Post is sponsoring "America's Next Great Cartoonist," a contest for aspiring comic-strip creators critiqued by the likes of Garry Trudeau ("Doonesbury"), Stephan Pastis ("Pearls Before Swine"), and Jerry Scott ("Zits" and "Baby Blues"), among others. The winning strip, as voted on by readers, will be published by The Washington Post for a month and become a candidate for syndication.

The contest is hosted by The Post's Michael Cavna on his cartoon blog, Comic Riffs. Deadline is June 4.
